The Roseville Roundhouse Model Railroad Club is proud to be partnering with both Roseville and Rocklin Historical Societies to produce a 6ft by 4ft railroad layout of both cities as they looked in 1869 at the completion of the transcontinental railroad. The exhibit once finished will be housed permanently at the Carnegie Museum in Roseville and will be temporarily exhibited in Rocklin and at other events throughout the year.
The layout is already underway and we have successfully completed the baseboard build. Much more research and layout planning is continuing and we are excited to be part of the overall celebration of this milestone event in American history.
