Hello,

pleased to report that we have just completed supporting the local retirement community in Roseville at the Mistywood retirement site. Last Saturday a bus arrived from the community and around 10 people saw our model railroad layouts and today we presented at the Mistywood site on the History of railroading in Roseville. The presentation was well received and people were surprised at some of the Roseville history such as very basic nature of the town back in 1869, the problem of fires that extended into the 20th century, the changeover from steam to diesel traction and the effect on the city. If any of you out there would like our Association to present this information at other local events please let us know.  We would love to help our community.
