Those of you that follow our activities should know that Chris, John and Lou have installed a new test track facility in the new clubhouse. There are two test tracks, one for N scale and one for HO scale. Control of the tracks can be from DCC or DC and operation in DCC can be switched from run to program mode. A sophisticated electronic sequence allows for only one control on one track at a time and an added bonus is that a DC hogger can be plugged which automatically switches control to that hogger thus allowing electronic novices to easily test out their locos. This set up is up and working and while there are a few device locations still to be set, members should be able to come down and test out their locos.
