Detailed Description (What):

remove the low hills along the edges in particular at the yards and the front main along the back. Detail the edge and add a short plexiglas shield to protect from falling equipment

Reason(s) (Why):

This was installed this way to protect from falling equipment, but it is extremely unrealistic. Real railroads are built on fill above the height of surrounding terrain or at least are at grade. Never in a trench as the layout shows. In a rainstorm it would flood out every time.

***POSTPONED PENDING LEASE OUTCOME***
Removed from “Approved” to review again taking into account ALL changes to layout.

By making the scenery go below the table top, not only does it make the track look more realistic, but it opens up opportunities to take the scenery quite low. Even to the floor if desired. Far more options. And it would make the select locations where the track was in a trench stand out more. Tony to propose a plan and estimate costs.

John to review and identify specifics.
