Problem Description:

Sound isnt right. The fault is identical to Sante Fe unit 334A. I suspect a corrupted sound file

Solution Description/Service Details:

Decoder beyond repair. Tried resetting to defaults but no difference. The decoder was likely damaged during a power shut down on the layout. With the other faults on the loco – particularly the coupler bases issue, suggestion is to trash the loco or sell at auction. The plastic body has some damage but may work on another chassis.
