One of our mission requirements as a not for profit organization is to donate Half of the proceeds from our various auctions of donated material and equipment we don’t use. We conduct member only auctions, then on line auctions and some times train show sales tables. All of the donated material and equipment go to Model Railroad enthusiasts so our donors can rest assured that the items they provide go to good homes with new owners that will appreciate and use them. It also provides our association with operating funds to build our model railroads. Besides the mission giving to the children’s hospital just makes you feel good to know you may have helped a child and improved the life of an entire family. By Duncan Macdonald
