We recently ran an HO Operations session on the new layout. It was the first time we used the full yard area and Harriston and the Oil refinery area. It was excellent having real destinations for the cars. The locos ran well and we had very few “Prairie Dog” moments. 12 people turned up to run trains so we doubled up on tasks. I guess our biggest issue was people learning the layout and what tracks they could use to shuffle cars into. However the two hour session was appreciated by all and we look forward to the next session.

The pictures show the guys running and with an age range of 13 to 90 it proved to be great fun.
